Using Photoshow
By using Photoshow, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What you can do:
- Install and use the app on your personal devices
- Import and display your photos and videos
- Create slideshows and cast to external displays
- Access premium features via Subscription or Daily Pass
- Use Google Photos integration (currently in Beta)
What you can't do:
- Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app
- Use the app for illegal purposes
- Attempt to bypass or circumvent premium feature gates or ad requirements
Beta Feature Notice: Google Photos integration is currently in a beta testing phase. While we strive for stability, features in beta may experience unexpected behavior, performance issues, or temporary unavailability.
Subscriptions & Daily Pass
Photoshow offers premium features through auto-renewing Subscriptions or one-time Daily Passes. All payments are managed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- Daily Pass: Grants temporary premium access (typically 24 hours). If advertisements are temporarily unavailable in your region, we may provide a 12-hour fallback pass as a kind gesture. This courtesy pass is offered at our sole discretion and we are freely entitled to modify its duration, limits, or discontinue it altogether at any time.
- Subscriptions: Automatically renew unless cancelled. We reserve the right to modify the features, availability, and pricing of any subscription plan at any time. Any legacy plans or special offers are provided at our sole discretion.
- Extensions & Bonuses: Any ability to extend a Daily Pass or receive additional "premium time" through interactions (e.g., viewing ads) is a courtesy provided by the developer. We are freely entitled to modify, limit, or remove these extension mechanisms without prior notice.
- Refunds: All financial transactions are handled by the App Store. Request refunds through your respective store — we cannot process refunds directly.
Your Photos
- You own your photos. We don't claim any rights to your content.
- We don't upload your photos. Everything stays on your device or in your own cloud account (e.g., Google Photos).
- Back up your photos. We are not responsible for data loss or corruption of your local files.
User Feedback & Ratings
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or 1-5 star ratings through our in-app prompts:
- You grant us the right to use that feedback anonymously to improve the app and our services.
- You agree that we may contact you via the support email you provide if you request assistance.
Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
Feature Changes & Sunsetting
We reserve the right to add, modify, or sunset (remove) any feature of the app at any time, with or without notice. This includes both free and premium features. While we aim to provide a stable experience, the availability of specific functionalities (such as casting, specific transitions, or cloud integrations) is not guaranteed indefinitely.
We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, always available, or meet your specific needs. We're an indie developer doing our best, but we cannot promise perfection.
Liability
Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
We are not liable for:
- Lost photos or data (back up your own content)
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Issues caused by your device, internet connection, or third-party services (like Google Photos or Chromecast)
Dispute Resolution
Step 1 — Informal Resolution: If you have an issue, please email us at [email protected] first. We will try to resolve the matter within 30 days. Most problems can be resolved quickly and informally.
Step 2 — Formal Proceedings: If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, either party may bring formal proceedings in the courts of Dublin, Ireland.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dublin, Ireland.
EU Consumer Rights: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law. If you are an EU consumer, you retain all mandatory consumer protection rights provided by the laws of your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.
