Data Deletion

GalleryShow by Woxyn

Effective Date: August 20, 2026

This page explains how to delete your data from GalleryShow, developed by Woxyn, on any platform — Android or iOS. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy.

1Summary

No Account, No Server-Side Profile

GalleryShow does not require sign-in and does not store your photos, videos, or an account tied to your identity on our servers.

Local Storage First

Most of your data is already only on your device — deleting it there is immediate and complete; there is nothing further for us to do.

Third-Party Diagnostics & Purchases

A small amount of data lives with third-party services (analytics, crash reporting, purchase records) — see §3 below for what we can and cannot look up on your behalf, and why.

2Delete Data Yourself, On-Device

Recommended & Immediate

Delete All App Data

In the App, go to Settings → wipe all local metadata, downloaded cloud photos, thumbnails, collections, and preferences.

Delete a Collection

Removes the App's own copies held by that collection. Collections that only reference your library (Smart Collections, folders) never delete your originals.

Uninstall the App

Removes all local data associated with it completely from your device.

Revoke Google Photos Access

If you used cloud import, revoke access at any time in your Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions .

Reset Your Advertising ID

In your device's system settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). This is controlled by you, not by us — we never store it independently of your device.

Note: These steps are complete and immediate because your photos, videos, and collections never leave your device in the first place.

3Requesting Deletion from Our Third-Party Services

Contact [email protected] to request deletion of the following. Please read the caveat under each — it affects what we're actually able to find and remove.

DataHeld byCan we identify & delete it?
Purchase / subscription historyRevenueCat Yes

If you provide your store receipt, transaction ID, or the approximate purchase date and platform (Google Play / App Store). We have no other way to locate a specific purchase record.

Crash logs & diagnosticsFirebase Crashlytics No individual lookup possible

These are tied to an anonymous installation identifier, not to you, your email, or any account — we have no way to connect a deletion request to a specific record.

Usage analytics (feature usage, session length, etc.)Firebase Analytics No individual lookup possible

For the same reason: we never send an email, name, or account identity to Analytics, so nothing in that data can be matched back to a request.

Our Privacy Choice: We are not withholding a deletion capability here — we deliberately never collected an identifier that would let anyone, including us, single out your analytics or crash data from anyone else's. That is a privacy choice, not a limitation we're working around.

4What We Never Have to Delete

Because GalleryShow processes your media locally, the following are never sent to us and never exist on our servers:

  • Your photos and videos
  • Filenames and metadata
  • Collection or album names
  • Any search queries or text you type in the App
